The IDPS Programme Team and the Regional Screening Teams are developing a range of tools and resources to support local implementation. These are listed below.

Gap Analysis & Action Plan spreadsheet
|
An excel template to support Maternity Units/Trusts to review their current status in line with the IDPS standards, and assist local implementation groups to collate action plans and prioritise areas to address.
The results from the Gap Analysis will provide the Regional Teams and the National Programme Team with a baseline assessment for future monitoring processes.

Local Implementation Guidance
|
This guidance is part of a package of resources and tools that are available to support local project management, and includes:
- a summary of the key dates;
- guidance about establishing a local project/steering group; and
- a detailed checklist clarifying roles and responsibilities.

We have developed two posters to help support local implementation of the standards, these include:
- A generic IDPS poster highlighting the key steps in the IDPS pathway; and
- A poster for the delivery suite which includes a reminder about the IDPS standards relating to women who present unbooked in labour
